David Holland

David Holland was born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1944. He was educated at Nelson Boys College and Cashmere High School.
Previous Occupations were a Flying Instructor and a Manager. Deciding to "retire" in 1989, he purchased a small water colour set and began teaching himself to paint. There was a lot to learn but after reading the book, "The Art of Robert Bateman" he knew 'how' he wanted his paintings to develop and he has gone on to develop this special high quality work in oils.

Dianne Lambly

There is a wonderful future ahead for this artist.

Dianne is a self taught artist and she is still learning with every painting she creates and she is now finally following her life long desire to paint. She works in Oils on Canvas and prefers realism and landscape scenes.

After more than 18 years as a 'Sugar Artist' she has changed mediums from food and colour icing to oils and canvas and this change took place only 3 years ago with encouragment to try her hand at painting by another artist.

John Keith Reed DFA

JK Reed was born in England and emigrated to Dunedin in 1954. He attended school at Otago Boys’ High. When he was only sixteen he held his first exhibition in which three-quarters of the works he displayed were sold.

Belinda Hobson
Belinda was born in Wales and worked in London for 10 years. While there she learned design at a print company. She traveled extensively before settling in New Zealand. She found a real passion for Celtic Art and the intricacies of the knots and design, and finds that working on it is “therapeutic”.
Her Celtic water colours and prints reflect her life at the time.

Marilyn Andrews

This artist lives life to the full, paints in bold and beautiful colours, and has enjoyed and still enjoys her many pursuits and varied interests.

Phill Dunn

Phill Dunn shows his wonderful use of very fine detail mostly in watercolour. He brings to life our various breeds and unique New Zealand bird life. He creates in stunning detail the beautiful foliage these native birds live on.
He also specialises in personal animal portraits when he has spare time which is rare. His work has sold in many National Exhibitions now and slowly he is becoming a well respected and recognised artist.

Rosemary Macklin

This artist is now an elderly lady in her 90`s who has donated her more recent work to The Art of New Zealand Trust with the proceeds going to projects/exhibitions for emerging artists.

Rosemary Macklin - This artist was born in Sydney, Australia in 1915 - and was in England by the time she was 4 years old. Rosemary has recently had her 90th birthday in Havelock North.

She has lived in England, South Africa, Australia and of course New Zealand. She has lived in many countries and travelled extensively since early childhood and ended up finishing school in Johannesburg.
