FORMAL CONTRACT OF ENGAGEMENT - 2009

Art of New Zealand Trust is engaged on a contract basis to provide website promotion, sales and where required, distribution and exhibiting of original artworks and prints on behalf of - the Artist:

Money

Annual fee of $100.00 to be on the Art of New Zealand Trust website is to be paid at the beginning of the contract year.

Costs of promotion and marketing, once material (ie : paintings for display ) is received by Art of New Zealand Trust , is then at the expense of Art of New Zealand Trust. If this painting is sold on the website and not in an exhibition - the artist is required to pay freight or the Trust will reclaim it from the sale.

20% of the sale price of the art / craft / cards is to be to be retained by the Trust as commission or paid to the trust as commission. Also freight is to be paid by the artist.

Definition of Promotion:

The exhibiting of artworks and artist in a way that positively contributes to sales/commissions/profile of the artist and artworks.

Exhibiting may include, but is not confined to:
- Inclusion on the Website
- The inclusion of artworks in galleries
- The sales and promotion of prints
- The hanging of artworks in suitable place to aid promotion
- A copy of this will be returned to you, along with forms for your art for display purposes.
